Girls' Games

Sport is a valued and traditional strength of life at St.Hugh's. All girls play for a school A or B team which has regular, organised fixtures on Wednesday afternoons with some tournaments and matches on a Saturday afternoon. St. Hugh's has an excellent range of sports facilities.

Sports Tours

Every other year, any girls in Years 7 and 8 are eligible to join the Netball Tour to Barbados. The school has organised five very successful tours to date, with the most recent in the Christmas holiday of 2008 and our next one scheduled for January 2011. Although Barbados prides itself on the strength of their netball teams, our girls team have always had tremendous success with their fixtures.

Recent Noteworthy Achievements

Although all girls are involved in playing for a school team in our regular weekly fixtures, many reach such a high personal level, that they are accepted to play at county level.
