Young children are excited by learning a new language and are incredibly receptive to the new sounds and words. St Hugh’s recognises this and so children begin to learn French in Nursery and carry on their learning throughout Pre-Prep. The teacher introduces children to the spoken language through songs, action rhymes and practical activities and aims to develop a real love of different languages.
