End of Term Arrangements
All parents have been sent a letter from the Headmaster, via email, concerning end of term arrangements. The letter can also be downloaded from the Letters Archive section of the St Hugh’s website. A brief reminder of the important pick up times on Wednesday, 10th December, the final day of term, follows.
Pre-Prep children break up at 12.20 pm. They will have lunch at school and will be available for collection from their classrooms at 12.20 pm. Those in the Middle and Upper School will remain at school and be transported to Buckland Church for the carol service, which will begin at 2.45 pm. The carol service is due to finish at 3.45 pm and if parents are not attending, and cannot collect from the church, we will bring your children back to school from where we would ask you to collect them by 4.30 pm at the very latest.

Thank You from Mrs Nobes
I would just like to express a very big ‘Thank You’ to all the children, parents and staff of St Hugh’s for having made me feel so welcome during my first term here. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!  Suzanne Nobes

Boarding at St Hugh’s
Please note that there will be no flexi-boarding on Tuesday, 9th December.  Only weekly boarders will be in school that night. Kindly note that the email address on which to contact Mr Das Gupta is boarding@st-hughs.co.uk.  This is also printed in the front of the school calendar and has been in use for some time.  From the start of next term, this is the only email address through which messages will reach him, as any other addresses will be closed at the end of this year.

FOSH Cake Sales – Friday, 28th November 2008
We are delighted to announce that the sales in Pre-Prep and Middle/Upper School made a total of £237.15 (£74.60 in Pre-Prep and £162.55 in Middle/Upper School). Thank you so much to all those mummies who baked and to the Form Reps who encouraged them to do so.  A very big ‘thank you’ too, to the Form Reps who ran the sales on Friday.  Well done everyone!
(Please note that there are still one or two trays left under the table in the Middle School Hall. If you have yet to retrieve a tray belonging to you, please pick it up from Middle School.)

 Bampton Village Nativity
On Monday, 22nd December, once again the story of Jesus’ birth will be re-enacted in the village of Bampton.  At 7.00 pm we shall gather in St Mary’s Church, with Mary & Joseph, to sing some carols before following the young couple as they set off on their journey to call at each of the village inns to look for somewhere to stay.  Will they find a stable?   What about the shepherds and wise men?  Will they be there too?  Well you’ll have to wait and see!  Come and join us for this very special event.
