Prep School Admissions Process
Stage 1: Initial enquiry to be made to the Registrar, Mrs Allen.
Stage 2: Visit the school for a tour with the Registrar and a meeting with the Headmaster.
Stage 3: Register children (there is a registration fee of £90 inc. VAT for each applicant). Children need to be registered in order to be offered a place: these are allocated according to date of registration with an allowance for siblings. The online registration form can be found HERE, a downloadable copy is available using the download button on this page, or a paper copy supplied on request.*
Stage 4: For children looking to join Year 1 and above, they will be invited to attend a Taster Day. For children looking to join Nursery or Reception, they will be invited to a pop-in session with parents present.
Stage 5: Offer sent. For children joining Nursery to Year 6, a deposit of £600 inc. VAT is required to accept the offer. For children joining Year 7 and above from September 2025, a deposit of £1200 inc. VAT is required. Please note that from September 2025 for those children who joined in Years 7 and 8 and paid the enhanced deposit, no additional deposit is required when moving to Year 9.
Senior School Admissions Process
Stage 1: Initial enquiry to be made to the Registrar, Mrs Allen. We encourage early contact, as the launch of the Senior School has generated significant interest.
Stage 2: Attend the Senior School Information Evening (held in the Autumn Term 2025) or arrange a personal visit and meeting with the Headmaster or Assistant Head Admissions.
Stage 3: Submit an application form. Applications for the Senior School (Year 7 and Year 9 entry in September 2026) open in September 2025. There is a registration fee of £90 inc. VAT for each applicant.*
Stage 4: Provide recent school reports and CAT scores. These will form part of the review process and help ensure we understand each applicant’s educational background.
Stage 5: Meeting with the Headmaster or Assistant Head Admissions to discuss the application and get to know your child.
Stage 6: Offer sent & deposit of £1200 inc. VAT required to accept the offer. The deposit will be credited against the final term’s fees.
We will not be asking children to take the ISEB Pre-Test as part of the Senior School admissions process. Offers will be made based on school reports, CAT scores, and the outcome of the meeting with the Headmaster or Assistant Head Admissions.
