St Hugh's Tennis Academy
The 3 hardcourt and 4 astro pitch tennis courts at St Hugh's are superb facilities on which to learn the beautiful game of tennis. Our Tennis Academy offers lessons across a wide range of ability levels, delivered by experienced and qualified tennis coaches. St Hugh's Tennis Academy offers sessions with varying group sizes, providing options to suit the individual. We offer the following courses:
Term-Time Courses (Autumn, Spring and Summer)
Enrolment is for a term's programme, typically of 10 x 25-minute tennis lessons running at a set time each week (one-off lessons are not available). Courses run weekdays and Saturdays at various times.
- Small Group lessons (max class size of 4): £6.75 + VAT per child for a 25 minute lesson
- Medium Group lessons (max class size of 6): £6.25 + VAT per child for a 25 minute lesson
- Large Group lessons (max class size of 12): £5.50 + VAT per child for a 25 minute lesson
- One-to-one lessons: £20 + VAT for a 25 minute lesson
- Two-to-one lessons: £11.25 + VAT per child for a 25 minute lesson
2025/26 Term dates are:
- Autumn 25: Weds 3rd Sept - Thurs 11th Dec (Excluding Oct half term)
- Spring 26: Weds 7th Jan - Thurs 26th March (Excluding Feb half term)
- Summer 26: Weds 22nd April - Thurs 2nd July (Excluding May half term)
Intensive holiday courses
These run during the school holidays.
We offer 1-2-1 lessons on Mondays and Fridays at 10am, 10.45am, 11.30am, 1.45pm, 2.30pm and 3.15pm. Each 45 minute lesson costs £30 + VAT and is bookable on an individual basis.
Tuesday – Thursday each week we offer:
Full Day sessions from 10am - 4pm. The cost for a 3-day course is £99 + VAT
Morning sessions from 10am – 1pm. The cost for a 3-day course is £41.25 + VAT
Afternoon sessions from 1.30pm – 4.30pm. The cost for a 3-day course is £41.25 + VAT

Adult lessons (parent drop-off)
These run during term time Monday - Thursday in the mornings. Enrolment is for a term's programme, typically of 10 x 45 or 60 minute tennis lessons, running at a set time each week (one-off lessons are not available).
- Large Group lessons (max class size of 8): £12 + VAT for a 60 minute lesson
- One-to-one lessons: £36 + VAT for a 45 minute lesson
- Two-to-one lessons: £20.25 + VAT for a 45 minute lesson
