FOSH

St Hugh’s is a warm and friendly school and it is important to us that our families feel a part of this very special community.  FOSH, the ‘Friends of St Hugh’s’, plays a large part in welcoming new parents into the school community by arranging social activities and get-togethers for both parents and children throughout the school year.

The Form Representatives also help to co-ordinate support for our very popular school/FOSH events.  These include an annual fireworks evening, the Christmas Fair and a Summer Fete.  St Hugh’s parents appreciate the genuine community spirit of the school and we welcome offers of help and support at all events.

Fireworks

Whilst the primary focus of FOSH is to provide fun social occasions, funds raised through such events are invaluable for providing items for the school which would not normally be expected to come out of school income.  FOSH also helps to support and promote fundraising for the charities nominated each year by the school community.

St Hugh's pupils play an active part in our fundraising activities.  Each of the four school Houses adopt a charity for the year and each term the children take part in fundraising events to raise money for their chosen charities.  Please visit our Community Partnerships area of the website for further information.

If you would like further information about FOSH activities, please do get in touch with our External Relations & Events Coordinator, Mrs Duncan.
