We were delighted to welcome both current and new pupils to St Hugh's for the start of the autumn term and a new school year. Despite restrictions and strict routines to keep everybody safe, St Hugh's is striving to ensure that school life is as rich and varied as ever. Only a few weeks in and we have a cast of actors rehearsing for a performance of Hamlet; Year 7 are learning the songs for their musical; Middle School and Pre-Prep are preparing for their Harvest Festivals; children from Nursery to Year 8 have been splashing around in the swimming pool; the sports fields are as busy as ever with training and competitive House matches; children are venturing into the woods for Forest School; Wellbeing sessions are keeping everybody calm; Pre-Prep have been on the first of several trips planned for the term; after-school clubs have commenced; and of course, learning continues in the classrooms with the children proving to be inspired and enthusiastic learners. St Hugh's is certainly a very busy place to be and we are happy to be back together, making the most of new opportunities and enjoying our wonderful grounds and facilities.
