In November 2020, as the nation faced a second COVID lockdown, Mr Hargreaves worked with Mr Rundle, our School Photographer, to make a video to mark Remembrance Sunday at a time when our school community could not come together. Together, they took to the streets of Abingdon to tell the stories behind a number of names that appear on the Abingdon War Memorial. The resulting film explores how past, present, people and place are all connected and why remembrance is important on a human individual level. Three years on, we thought we would share the film again for the benefit of anyone who has not seen it. Please do find 20 minutes over the weekend to watch it - you will soon realise why Mr Hargreaves leaves a legacy of avid young historians in his wake.
