Pre-Prep Explorers
Year 2 are now fully prepared to take on Antarctica after enjoying two inspiring talks in one day. The first was by renowned explorer and former RAF Mountain Rescue veteran Al Sylvester who regaled the children with his incredible tale of walking 600 miles to the South Pole... unassisted!
The second talk was given by St Hugh's Parent Mrs Cordy-Simpson who ran the Antarctic Ice Marathon. An astonishing feat and the children were fascinated to hear all about it.
