Remembrance Day

Although we were unable to gather together on Remembrance Day this year, all pupils and staff paused at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month and marked a two-minute silence.  In a moving service led by the Headmaster, crosses and a wreath were placed in the Rose Garden, a Year 8 pupil played the Last Post, and Chamber Choir sang the Irish Blessing. Our thoughts went to the St Hugh's pupils and the member of staff - and to the many others - who lost their lives in the Great Wars.
