On the evening of Thursday 25th June, we were absolutely delighted to welcome guests to celebrate the official opening of our Senior School Hub, The Hayes Centre.

The Hayes Centre represents an exciting milestone in the development of St Hugh's, marking the expansion of the school into senior education. The opening brought together members of the St Hugh's community, with guests enjoying welcome drinks and canapés, followed by addresses from Headmaster David Griffiths, Sally Ewins, Assistant Head of Seniors, and Samuel and Tilly, members of the pioneer year group.

Attendees were then invited to take a guided tour of The Hayes Centre, experiencing first-hand the purpose-built spaces which, coupled with St Hugh’s existing outstanding facilities, are designed to support a dynamic and inspiring senior curriculum. The evening also provided an opportunity for guests to engage with staff, families joining Year 9, and Governors.

 

 

Our thanks go to Charlie Maynard MP, Emilie Darwin, CEO of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS), who cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the new building, highlighting the significance of this development within both the school and the wider educational community.
