We are delighted to announce that our public speaking team, by unanimous vote of the four judges, won the Blenheim Public Speaking Competition today, 12th March, with Seb Pease also bringing in the Best Speaker Award for the second year in a row. There was very tough competition and topics ranged from gender inequality to The Royals, with our team choosing to speak on the topic, 'Is post-truth bringing humanity to the brink of extinction?' with a focus on political and corporate fraud as well as fake news. Freddie Howard, Seb Pease and Lydia Matthews were the speakers, with Will Roques and Izzy Walker researching and answering questions on the day. Well done to the whole team.
